Whether you're a solo maintainer, are part of a growing project, or are supported by programs like our Secure Open Source Fund, this is your space to showcase your work.

Open Source Zone FAQs
What does it cost to participate?
Nothing! If selected, your project will receive a booth space at no cost, and you’ll also receive two 2 free tickets to GitHub Universe.
What do I need to bring?
Yourself and a colleague, your project, and your passion for open source! We provide the space, power, computer display, and support.
What open source licenses do you accept?
We welcome projects under a variety of open source licenses, even if they don't strictly follow the OSI definition. At a minimum, your project must have publicly available source code (or be mirrored) on GitHub and offer a license that allows free usage, modification, and distribution. If your project uses dual licensing or offers free access for individuals, we’ll consider it on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer travel stipends?
We’re able to offer limited travel stipends to some projects. Please indicate on the application form whether you’d like to apply for a travel stipend, and we can follow up with more information.
