App Portability From Edge to Cloud
This session showcases the application of Intel AI software for a Pharmaceutical solution, emphasizing application portability from on-premises to the cloud. It showcases workloads like Demand Forecasting, Predictive Maintenance, Visual Anomaly Detection, and GenAI Chatbot on Intel Core CPUs and 4th Gen Xeon infrastructure within the Intel Developer Cloud (IDC). The integration of Intel's optimizations for PyTorch*, TensorFlow*, XGBoost*, and the OpenVINO Anomalib tool is demonstrated in a prototype application that includes various DevOps elements to support the modular deployment of individual AI training and inference service as REST API endpoints. Attendees can engage in hands-on activities on the IDC, exploring services like the GenAI Chatbot and Visual Anomaly through the prototype's User Interface.
Integrated Photonics and its Impact on Systems and Data Centers of the Future
The ever-increasing movement of data from server to server is taxing the capabilities of today’s data center infrastructure. The industry is quickly approaching the practical limits of electrical I/O performance. Integrated Photonics research at Intel labs addresses growing challenges of network traffic in data centers by integrating silicon photonics with low-cost, high-volume silicon. Learn about our recent advances and explore possibilities of how integrated photonics may change system interfaces and network topologies in future data center architectures. In this session, James Jaussi, Senior Principal Engineer and Director of the PHY Research Lab at Intel Labs, will lay out Intel’s vision for optical compute interconnect and end-to-end optical networks in future data centers.
