Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) is a new architecture for Radio Access Networks (RANs) designed to be open, interoperable and virtualized. It helps operators reduce costs, improve performance and accelerate the deployment of new services.
This session will show how SUSE and Intel can collaborate and show what's possible with Intel FlexRAN, Intel Xeon processors, and Intel network accelerators combined with SUSE Linux Enterprise Micro, RKE2 and Rancher Kubernetes management platform to build a sample virtual radio access network (vRAN) reference architecture.
