Community Panels  

Are you a passionate member of the Twitch community and want to help shape the rich lineup of content at TwitchCon? This is your chance, with panels designed to be run by the community for the community.These panel sessions feature a wide range of topics on interests, diversity, health, and education. Not sure what to submit? Panels could be on a variety of topics including The Best Games to Play with Chat, How to Build a Successful Streaming Business, Streaming 101: Fostering Community, and Pioneering Niche Content on Twitch. These are just a few examples to get your creative juices flowing.  

 

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions must be in compliance with Twitch’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Events Code of Conduct and Release. 
  • All channels submitting must be in good standing, with no moderation infractions within the past ninety (90) days of application. If your channel is suspended or banned after being accepted, your participation will be canceled.
  • Panels will all be hosted LIVE in San Diego but will also be streamed on Twitch. We encourage you to consider the experience for everyone who will be watching LIVE on Twitch when you enter your submission. 
  • All panels will be composed of up to five (5) panelists. When submitting: 
    • Your submission must include between three (3) and five (5) total panelists, including you. 
    • You must provide all requested panelists information including Twitch Usernames during the submission process. 
    • Diversity amongst your panelists will play a large role in the TwitchCon Content team’s selection process. 
    • The TwitchCon Content team is unable to consider submissions that do not include a comprehensive list of panelists.
  • All panels will be moderated by hosts appointed by Twitch. These hosts will: 
    • Be a Twitch creator.
    • Are there to help lead and manage your panel. 
    • Act as a liaison between the panel participants and the TwitchCon Content team to ensure all required assets (slides, vidoes, images, etc.) are prepared and delivered to the TwitchCon Content team prior to the event. 
  • Keep in mind, your panel submission isn’t only for our review, but also what the attendees will see at TwitchCon. We highly encourage you to write succinctly and with the community in mind, but most of all, have fun dreaming up your content submission!

 

Accepted submission will receive the following inclusions from Twitch

  • Up to five (5) comped TwitchCon badges for accepted panelists. 
  • A host to help lead and manage your session.

 

Selection Process

The TwitchCon Content team closed submissions on June 5, 2022. Applicants will be notified of their submission status no later than August 1, 2022.
