Cosplay Contest

Dust off your sewing machines and fire up those heat guns, the TwitchCon Cosplay Contest is back in San Diego! Join the best cosplayers on Twitch and stream your process to compete for a $15,000 USD grand prize. The contest will also feature $4,000 prizes for each of the category winners: Needlework, Armor, FX, and Larger Than Life, plus a community choice winner who will also receive $4,000 USD. Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions must be in compliance with Twitch’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Events Code of Conduct and Release. 
  • All channels submitting must be in good standing, with no moderation infractions within the past ninety (90) days of application. If your channel is suspended or banned after being accepted, your participation will be canceled.
  • Eligible entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Eligible entrants must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada. 
  • Stream your creation process on Twitch for a total of at least 15 hours.
  • Highlight each of the broadcasts that showcase your work on your cosplay. Remember, if you don’t highlight your broadcast, the broadcast will disappear and the TwitchCon Content team won’t be able to evaluate all of your hard work!
  • Use the “Cosplay” tag when streaming and include “TwitchCon San Diego 2022 Cosplay Contest Entry” in the title of your broadcast.

Accepted submission will receive the following inclusions from Twitch

  • A comped three-day TwitchCon badge for yourself and one (1) additional badge for your selected assistant.
  • A monetary stipend to assist with your travel to the show. 

 

Selection Process
The TwitchCon Content team will close submissions on July 31, 2022. Applicants will be notified of their submission status no later than August 12, 2022.
 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter or win the TwitchCon San Diego 20122 Cosplay Contest. Open to Twitch members who are legal residents of the 50 U.S. & D.C., and CAN, over the age of majority.  Other restrictions apply.  Submission Period: 5/12/22 – 7/31/22 at 11:59 pm PT. Finalists must travel to and participate in TwitchCon in San Diego, CA October 7-9, 2022.
