QuickBooks Connect attracts growth-minded, tech-forward accounting professionals who prioritize productivity and efficiency. Attendees are leaders of established, successful firms and proficient to expert QuickBooks users. Attendees are looking for intermediate to advanced content, and that will be our priority this year.
Content should be unique to QuickBooks Connect and the audience it serves.

CAS leadership: Topics in upskilling advisory

Accounting and tax workflows: Covering QuickBooks and integrated technologies to automate and optimize bookkeeping and tax workflows. Content should be geared toward an expert user. Narrow use cases and niche focus encouraged.

Sessions that have clear titles, descriptions, and learning objectives are typically best received by the audience. Avoid language that can seem catchy, and focus more on making what will be covered in the session as clear as possible.
A tip for writing strong learning objectives is to use action-oriented verbs to lead your bullets. Avoid phrases like “you will learn” or “gain an understanding.” Focus on what the learner will be able to do because of the session—not on what they will learn during the session. (For example, “By attending this session, you will be able to” or “ Identify specific clients to offer xyz service.”)
We’re looking for the following range of session formats. Sessions are either 60 minutes or 120 minutes depending on the format. Please see below for more details, and note the speaker expectations per format.

All sessions that meet these qualifications will be eligible for 1 or 2 hours of continuing education in the appropriate category. Intuit will work with individual speakers to make sure content meets requirements.
Speakers at QuickBooks Connect are eligible for compensation. Most speakers will be eligible for the following:
| Speaker fee: | Honorarium based on speaker role and number of sessions/hours of content. Most sessions will be delivered a minimum of 2 times. |
| Accommodations: | Complimentary hotel accommodation at the ARIA Las Vegas for 3 nights. |
| Travel stipend: | US$500 travel stipend to offset airfare, ground transportation, etc. |
| Conference pass: | All speakers will receive complimentary event registration. |

Speakers with existing paid registration for QuickBooks Connect 2023 will receive a refund to their original payment method. Tickets cannot be transferred.
