What is Samsara Beyond?

Beyond is the must-attend conference for leaders changing the game in physical operations. It’s three days of innovation and inspiration with thousands of the brightest minds in the industry. When is the conference?

June 23-26, 2025 in San Diego, CA.

 

Who are the attendees?

3,000+ leaders of large and complex physical operations, including Manager, Director, and Executive titles across Operations, Safety, Fleet, and IT in the Transportation, Logistics, Warehousing, Field Services, Government, Education, Energy, Utilities, and Construction sectors.

 

What topics are you most interested in?

Beyond attendees are interested in a range of strategic insights, practical takeaways, and value propositions. All submissions will be considered. This year’s categories:
 

1. Data-Driven Productivity
Sessions about the predictive insights and practical strategies that are turning operations data into new opportunities -- topics like AI, technology integration, automated workflows, compliance, optimization, innovative stewardship, fuel savings, lower emissions, and long-term efficiency as a competitive advantage.
 

2. Leadership Through Change
Sessions about strategies for inspiring confidence in the face of uncertainty and leading with resilience, adaptability, and vision -- topics like collaboration, buy-in, decision-making, conflict resolution, leading up, organizational design, culture, empowerment, negotiating, critical thinking, building trust, motivation, agility, creativity, and resilience.
 

3. Next-Level Safety
Sessions about the latest innovations to protect your team, reinforce a culture of safety, and ensure high performance sustainability --  topics like program design, safety tech, driver exoneration, insurance savings, training, incentives and gamification, safety culture and mindset, incident and near-miss reporting, and coaching.

 

How many speakers can I recommend for a proposed session?

A maximum of 2 individuals can be recommended as speakers for each session submission, unless otherwise arranged.

 

What kind of room will my proposed session be in?

Room size, venue location, and production capability for each breakout session will vary depending on session content, format, and projected attendance.

 

How long should my proposed session be?

Submitted sessions should run for a duration of 40 minutes (including any Q&A) unless otherwise arranged.

 

What happens if my abstract is accepted?

Accepted session proposals will be assigned an agenda placement and a Samsara liaison to coordinate content development and delivery.

 

Will travel for speakers be reimbursed?

Standard travel expenses (economy/coach flight and/or ground transportation), limited meal expenses, and limited incidental expenses will be reimbursed by Samsara for contracted speakers (unless the accepted session is part of a paid sponsorship agreement).

 

Will speakers receive complimentary admission to the conference?

Yes, one complimentary conference access badge will be provided to each speaker associated with an accepted session proposal, unless otherwise arranged.

 

Will speakers be compensated?

No speaking fee or speaker compensation will be paid to speakers or session participants accepted through this Call for Papers process.

 

When will I know if my session proposal has been accepted?

The proposal submitter should expect an "accepted / declined" email notification on or before March 14, 2025.

 

What are my next steps if a session proposal has been accepted?

Next steps will be emailed to submitters of accepted proposals and coordinated by a Samsara liaison.
