Refund and Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of live events—including accommodation planning and capacity limitations mandated by venues, states, and the federal government for in-person events—AHIMA does not offer full refunds, however, we do offer the following:
Participants who cancel prior to Friday, September 4 are eligible for a refund, minus a $150 cancellation processing fee. Participants who cancel after Friday, September 4 will not be eligible for a refund. Participants who do not cancel and do not attend are liable for the full registration fee. Cancelations due to an emergency beyond the attendees’ control should be submitted to registration@ahima.org and will be reviewed a AHIMA's discretion.
Substitutions
Participants may transfer their registration up to Friday, September 4. Registration transfers/substitutions may incur a registration category fee adjustment, which will be assessed upon inquiry. Registration transfers/substitutions will not be accepted after September 4.
Note: AHIMA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule in-person programs and to close registration when programs are sold out. For these reasons, we advise registrants against purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. Should AHIMA postpone or cancel an in-person event, we will not refund your registration fee but will apply it to the rescheduled AHIMA event.
